Pawel Dudko - Grailstone #264

ARTIST Dr. Paweł Dudko is an artist working at the intersection of the virtual and physical. With a background in architecture and a practice rooted in code, 3D printing, and spatial design, his work explores how digital systems shape the way we perceive and experience reality.

Driven by curiosity and a deep respect for process, Pawel creates generative sculptures, infinite animations and interactive installations. His work often draws from nature, mathematics and the language of geometry - seeking to reveal complexity through simple forms

For Pawel, art is not a static object but a living system. By embracing the logic of materials - whether digital or physical - he invites viewers into spaces of discovery, where technology becomes a means of connection, reflection and wonder.

WORK Grailstone is a generative, interactive 3D project inspired by the silent beauty of natural crystals. Built on Bitcoin, it blends digital sculpture with geological wonder—merging nature’s rhythm with algorithmic logic.

Formed by “sacrificing” 3 Raystones, each Grailstone evolves over 8192 Bitcoin blocks (~8 weeks). Every 128 blocks, it subtly transforms. Its shape, personality and pace is shaped by the chain itself: hashes, timestamps, and transaction volume. No two are alike.

Grailstones reflect their satoshi origins - growing differently if inscribed on rare types like palindromes or vintage sats. What emerges is both predetermined and unknowable: an artifact that lives, grows, and glows with the pulse of the network.

COLLECTION Pawels work naturally suits the Copernicus Collection with its experimental nature using the blockchain to create dynamic and ecstatically compelling art.
